EB104 by YO5ER

YO5ER: Hi all, I'm new here, I'm Septy from Romania - YO5ER. Sorry for english language but I translate from Russian to understand this forum. I own the EB104 kit and I recently buy from eb104.ru forum protections for it. Here it is at this stage. Any hints and suggestions are well appreciated! The PSU is HP ESP120 - 48V (I have 2) I have to wire the system, to finish the front pannel, to route to CNC the box as will be desired. Entire system will be run by the Digital Controler board from here: http://eb104.ru/internet-magazin/komponenty-dlya-sborki-eb104/digital-control-board-for-transistor-amplifier Any tips for how to start testing and wiring are well appreciated. 73's Septy YO5ER

qlc: Dear Septy! You've made nice work! Looked your pictures in a hurry I can advise you to replace your 10cm FAN, placed on heatsink, by 12cm one, used originally for PC box, for example ZALMAN ZM-F2 PLUS. This will allow you to route a part of air across the PCB top, thus cooling the feedback resistors, feedback and output transformers. We are using two FANs usually, one on heatsink and second on enclosure, to pull air out of box. Placed in front of heatsink indeed. I suggest you to use +12VDC supply instead of +50V for initial testing. PA will give you about 30-50W output with this drain voltage. When you sure that all protections and band switching is correct - replace it by high voltage power supply. If you have any specific questions about tuning of boards or wiring them together, please ask me direct to ua3qlc@gmail.com . 73! Victor UA3QLC
